WORD ON THE STREET: School resource officers – Park Rapids Enterprise


The Enterprise asked random students at Park Rapids Area High School, “Should our schools have school resource officers? Why or why not?” These are their answers.

Sheldon Beaulieu: “I think we should have a resource officer, as it helps create a safe learning environment, and it helps emphasize that.”

Halo Finley: “I think it’s great for us because we do have some students that get into some big trouble. Like, last year, a student literally almost killed someone.”
