It may seem like content creators become overnight sensations easily. What many don’t know is all the hard work that goes into creating, planning and being strategic when it comes to content.
For cooking and culture influencer Remi Cruz, her journey from YouTube stardom to appearing on The Drew Barrymore Show was neither fast nor easy, but the result of a lot of hard work.
Cruz has more than 5 million followers across her channels on YouTube, TikTok and Instagram. She is best known for her personal YouTube channel, where viewers can find content centered on DIYs, cooking tutorials, makeup and fashion videos.
She has also been fortunate enough to work with some of the biggest brands around, including SoulCycle, Tarte Cosmetics, HP and M&M’s, to name a few.
In this episode of Young Influentials, Adweek digital editor and host Colin Daniels sits down with Cruz to discuss her social media career, burnout and how to align with the right brands for partnerships.
