Cyber Monday might be over, but users can still purchase name-brand hardware at really good prices. Today at Amazon, the Samsung T9 Portable 2TB SSD has dropped to its lowest price to date. It usually costs around $239, but right now, it’s discounted to just $149.
We shared our Samsung T9 Portable SSD review in October of this year and found the SSD to be a good performer. However, the launch price for the Samsung T9 seemed far too steep compared to similar drives on the market. With today’s discount in place, that criticism is rendered moot.

This offer is for the 2TB edition; however, the Samsung T9 portable SSD also comes in 1TB and 4TB versions. All of the drives in this line are compatible with USB 3.2 interfaces. The 2TB model can reach read/write speeds as high as 2000/1950 MB/s.
Because the drive is portable, it’s worth mentioning that the Samsung T9 weighs in at 4.3oz and measures up to 3.5 x 2.4 x .6in. Users also have optional 256-bit AES encryption to take advantage of for added security. The purchase is supported by a limited 5-year warranty from Samsung and Amazon’s holiday return policy that expires January 31, 2024.
