Huawei’s most distinctive camera hump is now longer exclusive to the high-end P60 series, according to a new leak. It has reportedly trickled down to a new generation of the Enjoy series, slated for an imminent launch as the latest HarmonyOS smartphones soon. The 70 might be able to hang on to a 50MP main camera and generous storage options, although its SoC is said to be much more low-rent.

Rumors of the Huawei P70 series moving on to a new camera housing may make more sense in the face of a new tip that suggests the OEM is about to take its predecessors’ hump and port it to more affordable smartphones. This process allegedly begins with the Enjoy 70 and its possible siblings in just a few days from today (December 3, 2023).

The ~US$260 60X has an almost Mate-esque camera hump; however, its immediate successor the 70 sports the general P60 design in its new photos. They were apparently clicked by the leaker WHYLAB, and show the new Enjoy-series flagship hanging out as a demo unit in a physical Huawei store despite the fact it has yet to launch.

The Enjoy 70 will do so on December 5 in green, black or white, according to some new leaked posters. In the meantime, the Enjoy 70 is said to have a 50MP rear camera (although it seems to have only 1 more lens next to it) and can go up to 512GB in terms of internal storage.

Then again, it is also now connected to a Kirin 710A processor which,  if true, will kick it very far down the Huawei mobile device pecking order despite its premium look.
