Artificial intelligence is finding a foothold at the doctor’s office. Robert Wachter, M.D., was the keynote speaker at a Sanford Medical Education event discussing the digital revolution in medicine.
He joined In the Moment to explore how AI tools are currently supporting providers and patients and how they could further transform care in the future.
Dr. Wachter is a professor and chair of the Department of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco. He’s the author of over 300 articles and six books, including the bestselling “The Digital Doctor: Hope, Hype and Harm at the Dawn of Medicine’s Computer Age.”
