According to the information provided by WABetaInfo, 7 features have been announced on WhatsApp beta for Android, iOS, and Desktop last week. Here are the latest WhatsApp updates you need to know:

1. WABetaInfo has informed about a concept about an advanced feature to manage WhatsApp storage by bringing the old storage usage section from a different entry point.

2. WhatsApp is now rolling out a section to view past group participants to some users that install the latest WhatsApp beta for iOS update. There is a new option at the end of the list of group participants that lets users discover people who left or were removed in the last 60 days. This section is visible to all participants that have the feature enabled for their accounts: it means that this is not limited to group admins but everyone can open the past participants section.

3. The online messaging platform is also rolling out past group participants to some Android beta testers. In addition, as it happens on WhatsApp beta for Android, the in-chat event that shows up when someone leaves a group is only visible to group admins, WABetaInfo informed.

4. WhatsApp is releasing status reactions on WhatsApp beta for Android, a feature that lets people react to others’ status updates by choosing one of the 8 available emojis: Smiling Face with Heart-Eyes, Face with Tears of Joy, Face with Open Mouth, Crying Face, Folded Hands, Clapping Hands, Party Popper, and Hundred Points.

5. As per the information, WhatsApp is also releasing a tweaked version for the context menu on WhatsApp beta for Windows by including the spelling action.

6. According to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is working on a new security feature called login approval, an option to add extra-layer of security to your WhatsApp account. It needs to be noted that this feature is under development and will be available in the future.

7. WhatsApp is developing an option that lets community members toggle phone number sharing so users will be able to choose who can see their phone number in a certain sub-group if a community.
