Vivo Y70s 5G renders revealed on JD.com, launch expected next week in China


It is already known that Vivo is working on a mid-range 5G smartphone called Vivo Y70s that will launch soon in China. The company hasn’t yet announced the launch date of the smartphone, but it is expected to launch in last week of May. Ahead of launch, the Vivo Y70s gets listed on popular e-commerce online store JD.com in China, where complete renders of the device are revealed. As the website has began to take appointments starting today, we can expect the launch to happen next week. Let us now take a look at what has been revealed from the online listing:

The Vivo Y70s, which is the first 5G smartphone under Y-series, will be available in three color options: White, Blue and Grey (actual names of the colors will vary). The renders reveal a punch-hole camera on the front a triple camera setup on the rear and side-mounted fingerprint scanner on the side.

Earlier, official poster of the Vivo Y70s had revealed the key specifications, which include Samsung Exynos 880 SoC, 8GB+128GB storage, 4500mAh battery, and 48MP camera. Today a new report by Digital Chat Station noted that the Vivo Y70s will sport a 6.53-inch FHD-60Hz LCD display. The rear camera setup will include a 48MP + 8MP + 2MP camera sensors and on the front, a 16MP camera will be present inside the waterdrop notch. The device will also support 18W fast charging via micro USB port.

As for the price, the Digital Chat Station report says the Vivo 70s will launch around in CNY 2000 price segment. It is going to be one of the affordable 5G smartphones in China. The competition include Redmi 10X, Honor X10, and Huawei Enjoy Z, among with Honor X10 was launched already and the other two smartphones are prepping for launch.
