Trump in need of some real ‘intelligence’ – Chico Enterprise-Record

To use the word “intelligence briefing” and Donald Trump in the same sentence is internally contradictory. We elected a man who believed the Central Park Five were guilty even after the true attacker confessed and DNA Evidence excluded them. A man who believed President Obama was born in Kenya and therefore ineligible to hold the office of president.  A man who refuses to believe science or wear a mask to protect himself and set an example for all to follow in order to keep them safe.  A man whose allegiance is to foreign powers and dictators rather than the country he swore to defend and protect.

Are there any readers out there who believe Trump did not know about the Russian Plot to kill American soldiers.  Perhaps his memory will be better if the intelligence briefings are sent through a Fox News feed the president thinks is being broadcast when it is just channeled to him.

Trump has said he only hires the “Best People.” But these “Best People” can’t figure out how to get information to sink in to the mind of the president?

We are left with a few possibilities: 1. No one bothered to tell him; 2. He was told but forgot; 3. He didn’t think it was important; 4. Putin told him very strongly it wasn’t true; or by the time you read this: “all the above.”

If the president believes an absurdity he will also be willing to commit an atrocity like not protecting our troops and believing his pal Putin.
