Tintra Shares Climb After Entering Artificial Intelligence JV With TMC2

Shares in Tintra PLC rose Wednesday after it said it has entered into a joint venture with investment and research company Time Machine Capital 2 Ltd. for the application of artificial intelligence in international payment services.

The investment company said it will receive a 50% stake in TMC2’s Finsensr, an entity that holds key intellectual property. As part of the deal, Tintra will issue 636,475 shares to TMC2, which are equivalent to 5% of its existing capital, and 636,475 warrants conditional on Tintra’s market capitalization reaching certain minimum levels.

Shares in Tintra at 0945 GMT were up 24% at 60 pence.
