Have a tech startup at the Series A or B funding level working in robotics, AI, mobility-as-a-service, automation or transportation? International trade specialist Tony Pu of the International Trade Administration’s U.S. Commercial Service Philadelphia may have an opportunity for you.
Commercial Service (CS) Tokyo and the Japanese External Trade Organization are organizing a Virtual Pitch Fest for U.S. innovative tech startup companies, and Pu is looking for Delaware startups to participate.
Five U.S. companies will be invited by CS Tokyo to join the event, which will take place online in mid-March. The selected companies will have the opportunity to showcase their technologies with the goal of developing partnerships and collaborations with Japanese companies. The pitches — four-minute videos followed by a five-minute Q&A — are not investment oriented.
There is no fee for participation in Virtual Pitch Fest. CS Tokyo also offers a service for participants where they will arrange meetings between participating companies for a fee.
Pu invites interested startups that fit the above criteria to contact him before Tuesday, Feb. 16, for consideration: firstname.lastname@example.org.
