The launch of smartphones in July was similar to what we witnessed in June. About 15 smartphones were released on July 1, and about 30 smartphones were released in the past 60 days alone.

Nokia launched India’s first G-series smartphone, and Samsung launched three new smartphones, one for each of the Galaxy A, M, and F series. Vivo has also added a new 5G-powered Y-series smartphone, and Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Note 10T, the first 5G phone in the Redmi series.

Nokia G20
The first major launch of the month was the Nokia G20, which had a modest launch. The company did not host a launch event. For those who care about specs, the Nokia G20 will disappoint one because the specs never impress you. It runs on older Mediatek G35 processors with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. There is also a 6.5 inch HD + display with a refresh rate of 60Hz.
In terms of cameras, the Nokia G20 has a 48MP main camera, a 5MP ultra-wide sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro camera. An 8MP selfie shooter is attached to the front. The device draws power from a 5,050mAh battery that supports 10W charging via a Type-C port.

Samsung Galaxy F22
With a combination of AMOLED display and high refresh rate, this first F-series smartphone 1Galaxy F22 comes with a 6.4-inch 90Hz display, but with HD + resolution. The MediaTek Helio G80 powers devices paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
In addition, the device is backed up by a 6,000mAh battery unit and a 15W inbox charger, and the phone supports fast charging up to 25W. In the optics sector, the Samsung Galaxy F22’s features include a 48MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2MP macro, and a 2MP depth sensor. There is a 13MP selfie shooter on the front.

Oppo Reno 6 series
The successors to the Reno 5 series, the Reno 6 and Reno 6 Pro, were officially announced in India. With its launch, MediaTek Dimensity 900 also officially debuted in India, and Reno 6 won the crown as India’s first feature-equipped phone. The Reno 6 uses the Dimensity 900 and the Pro model uses the Dimensity 1200.
The vanilla Reno 6 comes with a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide, 2MP depth sensor, and the Reno 6 Pro comes with an additional 2MP macro sensor. Both phones come with a 32MP self-camera. The Reno 6 is packed in a 4,300mAh battery, while the Reno 6 Pro has a slightly larger 4,500mAh battery. Both come with a 65W quick charger. Both phones come with a 6.5-inch OLED display with a touch sampling rate of 180Hz and a refresh rate of 90Hz.

Tecno Camon 17 and 17 Pro
The Tecno Camon 17 shows off a 6.6-inch FHD + display with a 90Hz screen refresh rate, and the Camon 17 Pro comes with a 6.8-inch FHD + 90Hz display. The Pro variant is a MediaTek G95 processor, but the Camon 17 has a MediaTek Helio G85 gaming processor.
In the camera division, the Camon 17 comes with a 48MP main camera and the Pro variant comes with a 64MP shooter. The Camon 17 comes with a 16MP selfie camera, and the 17 Pro comes with a 48MP selfie camera.
Finally, both phones have a 5,000mAh battery, but the vanilla variant supports 18W fast charging and the professional variant supports 33W fast charging.
Vivo Y72 5G
Vivo’s latest 5G product, the Y725G, features an Octa-Core Snapdragon 480 processor and a 6.58-inch full HD + LCD screen with a refresh rate of 60Hz. The optics department has a 48MP main camera with an f / 1.79 aperture and a 2MP depth camera, with an 8MP camera handling the selfie.
It has a 5,000mAh battery unit that supports 18W charging, comes with a fingerprint scanner on the side, has a 3.5mm headphone port, and runs Android 11.

Redmi Note 10T 5G
The Redmi Note 10T is a new member of the family, a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 105G, which was also launched in India last month as the Poco M3 Pro. The Poco M3 Pro 5G, Redmi Note 10 5G, and Redmi Note 10 T5G all share the same specifications. It’s also India’s first 5G-powered Redmi Note 10 series device.

Samsung Galaxy M2120 21 Edition
Launched as part of the Amazon Prime Day Sale, the Samsung Galaxy M212021 will be available from July 26th. The phone comes with a 6.4-inch Full HD + Super AMOLED display, and the Galaxy M212021 edition has a large 6,000mAh. 15W charge.
The device comes with a 48MP Samsung GM2 primary sensor, an 8MP wide-angle camera, and a 5MP depth sensor. On the front is a 20MP shooter for selfies. The phone comes with a 6.43 inch FHD + AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz. Also includes a 4,500mAh battery and a faster 65W quick charger

Poco F3 GT
The Poco F3 GT has changed the brand name of the Chinese Redmi K40 gaming phone, which was launched a few months ago. It features a Dimensity 1200 chipset, a 120Hz refresh rate, a 480Hz touch sampling rate, HDR10 + certification, and a 10-bit color 6.67-inch AMOLED screen. For audio, there are two stereo speakers: Sound by JBL, Dolby Atmos, and Hi-Res certified.
It’s a gaming-centric device with retractable shoulder buttons for gaming, a steam chamber for thermal management, a 4D vibrating motor for tactile sensation, and a custom antenna placement. Samsung Galaxy A225G
Samsung Galaxy A225G has a 6.6 inch full HD + LCD screen. Internally, the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset, making Samsung the first device in India to feature the Dimensity series chipset.
Taking care of the graphics and games is the Mali-G57 GPU, which is clocked at 950MHz. The chipset also supports 5G networks. In addition, the device comes with a triple rear camera setup with a 48MP + 5MP + 2MP setup and an 8MP selfie shooter. Powering the device is a 5,000mAh battery backed up by a 15W quick charger.

The last launch of the month was from the Indian brand 1Micromax. The company announced the Micromax In2b, the successor to the Micromax In1b from 2020. MicromaxIn2b has a UNISOCT 610 processor with up to 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.
It has a 6.5-inch HD + display, a 13MP + 2MP dual rear camera, and a 5MP self-camera. IN 2b has a large 5,000mAh battery with a 10W quick charger. Other features include support for Android 11 OS, Dual SIM, VoWi-Fi, VoLTE, Dual Band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth V5.0.
