SCHOHARIE — Schoharie Economic Enterprise Corp. on Wednesday announced it will relocate its headquarters to 287 Main St. in Schoharie.
When renovations are complete, the building will include a dedicated area for financial literacy tools offered by Bank of America, which donated the building to SEEC.
Bank of America’s Albany-Hudson Valley regional president, David Cornell said in a news release that SEEC has helped revitalize the area economy and BofA is committed to the same goal through partnerships with nonprofits.
Thomas Putnam, founder and chairman of SEEC, said the nonprofit economic development organization is focused on helping local business and industry thrive, and is grateful to be able to do that from a Main Street location.
Assemblyman Chris Tague, R-Schoharie, said SEEC has played an important role in assisting the local business community during the pandemic.
