Samsung has added a number of mid-range 5G smartphones this year and now it’s looking to add another in the budget range. As per the latest reports, the Galaxy A13 could be the next budget range 5G smartphone launched by Samsung.
PhoneArena reports that the Samsung Galaxy A13 may be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor to keep the price as minimum as possible, as opposed to a Qualcomm chipset that will surely boost the price. Still, the MediaTek SoC runs quite decently thanks to the octa-cores featuring a clock speed of 2.2GHz.
The Geekbench scores reveal that Galaxy A13 5G has got a score of 465 in single-core points and scored 1,106 points in the multi-core department.
The Galaxy A13 5G could pack 4GB RAM (might have a 6GB RAM option) and is expected to run Android 11 out-of-the-box. Since Google has just released Android 12, it will take a few months for the first smartphone to ship with the new version of the OS, so Galaxy A13 5G might run a previous version.
It might have a 50MP main camera and a 5000mAh battery. Samsung is yet to disclose the markets that they will be offering the phone.
