Riverside County election workers test positive for coronavirus – Press Enterprise

More than one Riverside County election worker has tested positive for coronavirus this week, causing dozens of Registrar of Voters employees to quarantine as the office works to certify November election results by Dec. 3.

In a news release issued late Wednesday, Nov. 25, Riverside County Registrar of Voters Rebecca Spencer said her office is on target to meet that deadline.

County spokeswoman Brooke Federico said the county is not releasing the number of employees who are positive for privacy reasons.

All department employees were tested Wednesday, and the office was also set to be disinfected.
