Redmi K30S smartphone with 5000 mAh battery launched – Mobiles News


NEW DELHI: Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has expanded its product lineup with the launch of Redmi K30S smartphone in China. The smartphone is said to be the rebranded version of the Xiaomi Mi 10T which the company launched last month. The smartphone runs Android 10 operating system and it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor.

The smartphone comes with a starting price tag of 2599 yuan (Rs 28,570) and it can be purchased in Interstellar Black and Moonlight Silver colour options. The handset will go on sale starting November 1.

Redmi K30S specifications

The Redmi K30S comes with a 6.67-inch full HD+ display with 1080×2340 pixel resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. The display is protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top. The handset is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor paired with Adreno 650 GPU.

Redmi K30S runs Android 10 operating system topped with the company’s own MIUI 12. The smartphone packs 8GB of RAM and comes in two storage options — 128GB and 256GB . USers can further expand the storage by adding a microSD card. The smartphone comes equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and offers stereo speakers.

Redmi K30S features a triple rear camera setup with 64MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 13MP ultra-wide angle lens with f/2.4 aperture, 5MP 2cm-10cm macro lens with f/2.4 aperture. The front is home to a 20MP selfie shooter with f/2.2 aperture.

The smartphone is backed by a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
