Also a composer, Bober enjoys creating motivational piano pieces that foster her students’ understanding and love of music. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana with a bachelor’s degree in music education.

She later received a Master of Arts degree in piano performance from Minnesota State University Moorhead. Bober credits much of her success to her influential teachers, including Joel Shapiro and Andrew Froelich (piano), Mary Hoffman (music education) and Tony Caramia (jazz).

Active as a church pianist and accompanist, Bober has also served as a church music director. In addition to teaching piano in her private studio, her music teaching experience includes 20 years of public school and two years at the university level.

Bober is in high demand as a clinician and composer at conventions and piano teacher workshops across North America. She resides in Minnesota with her husband, Jeff.

Admission is free. A freewill offering will be taken to help the performers with travel expenses.
