Motorola One Vision Vs Samsung Galaxy M30s: Which Smartphone Is Better?


Back in September 2019, Motorola made a striking comeback in the Indian market by launching One Vision. The major highlights of Motorola One Vision are a hole-punch display, a dual rear camera setup with a 48-megapixel sensor, a 25-megapixel selfie sensor, a rear fingerprint sensor, a 21:9 display and many more. Motorola One Vision

The Motorola One Vision, which comes with dual-SIM (Nano), runs on Android 9 Pie. It features a 6.3-inch full-HD+ (1080×2520 pixels) with 21:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass. The smartphone is powered by octa-core Samsung Exynos 9609 SoC, clocked at 2.2GHz and paired with Mali G72 MP3 GPU and 4GB of RAM.

The One Vision phone measures 160.1×71.2×8.7mm, and weighs 181 grams. The premium smartphone packs 4GB of RAM and offers 128GB internal storage as well. The storage can be expanded with a microSD card slot (up to 512GB).

On the optics front, the One Vision sports a 48-megapixel snapper with f/1.7 aperture and another 5-megapixel camera with f/2.2 aperture. The smartphone also supports dual-LED flash, 8x digital zoom, portrait mode, manual mode, cinemagraph, panorama, active display mode, Auto HDR and many more. On the front, there is a 25-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture as well.

Among other specifications, the One Vision packs a 3,500mAh battery with TurboPower fast charging support. Connectivity options include Bluetooth v5, USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, NFC, GPS, AGPS, GLONASS, more. Sensors onboard include fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, compass and magnetometer. Importantly, the phone is IP52 certified.

The price for the 4GB RAM + 128GB Storage Motorola One Vision in India has been set at Rs 14,990.

Samsung Galaxy M30s

Samsung Galaxy M30s sports a 6.4-inch FHD+ Infinity-U Super AMOLED display with a screen-to-body ratio higher than 91 percent and a peak brightness of 420 nits. It also comes with Widevine L1 certification for HD streaming on platforms like Netflix and Prime Video.

Samsung Galaxy M30s is powered by the Exynos 9611 octa-core processor and it is paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Samsung Galaxy M30s ships with One UI based on Android 9 Pie. It supports storage expandability via microSD card (up to 512GB).

On the imaging front, Samsung Galaxy M30s comes equipped with a triple rear camera setup that houses a 48-megapixel primary sensor with an f/2.0 aperture, assisted by a 5-megapixel depth camera, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with a 123-degree field of view. Also, there is a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front.

The phone’s storage is expandable via a microSD card (up to 512GB). Samsung Galaxy M30s packs a 6,000mAh battery with support for 15W charging. The price for the base variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of Galaxy M30s has been set at Rs 13,999. The 6GB + 128GB storage variant is priced at Rs 16,999.

Samsung Galaxy M30s is available in four colours i.e. Opal Black, Sapphire Blue, and Pearl White.
