iQoo India teases new smartphone, may launch iQoo 5 soon – Latest News


NEW DELHI: iQoo entered the Indian smartphone maker in February this year, with the launch of its first smartphone iQOO 3. The company is now all set to launch another smartphone in the country.

iQoo India took to Twitter to tease the launch of its upcoming smartphone. The company tweeted, “We’re joining forces and approaching break-neck speeds. It is unlike anything you’ve ever seen before. Stay tuned to know more. #DrivePerformance coming soon”. Rumours suggest that the company might launch the iQOO 5 smartphone in India.

The company is already launching the iQoo 5 in China on August 17 and it has also confirmed some of the key specifications of the device. The company confirmed that the iQoo 5 will feature a curved display with a single punch hole placed on the left edge and it will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor. The company has also revealed that the smartphone will come with 120W fast charging support. It will be the world’s first smartphone to come with a 120W charger.

For those unaware, the company introduced its 120W ultra-fast flash charging technology recently. The company claims that using this technology with a 4000mAh battery charges from 0% to 50% in just 5 minutes. It can also charge the device to 100% completely in 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, the smartphone brand has launched a referral programme to bring more customers on board. As suggested by the name, the company is offering benefits to both the referrer and referee as part of the programme. Existing iQoo 3 customers can get a discount for the ones they refer and in the process get a voucher. For both the referrer and referee, the benefit of Rs 1,000 in the form of a Flipkart voucher.
