The savings could be made on the average customer’s phone bill over the next two years, simply by switching to a SIM-only deal, according to the research by comparison and switching service Uswitch.com.
However, these savings would require the mobile phone user to keep using their current phone – an option which some tech-savvy consumers may not wish to do.
With most mobile phone contracts running for two years, consumers who purchased a new phone in 2018 could be in line for a significantly reduced phone bill this year.
Taking a look at the potential savings which could be made, Uswitch.com has compared the two most popular mobile phone contracts from two years ago, according to its data from June 2018.
