According to a forum hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Vietnam’s internet economy is estimated to reach $36 billion in 2024, reflecting a 16 percent growth from the previous year.
The forum, themed “Promoting Digital Transformation and Green Transition Towards Sustainable Development”, attracted the participation of more than 500 businesses across different economic sectors.
The results emphasised e-commerce’s crucial role, with retail contributing $22 billion, and showcased digital transformation’s potential to accelerate future economic growth in the country.
