© Reuters. Intel Earnings, Revenue beat in Q4 – Intel (NASDAQ:) reported on Thursday fourth quarter that beat analysts’ forecasts and revenue that topped expectations.

Intel announced earnings per share of $1.52 on revenue of $19.98B. Analysts polled by anticipated EPS of $1.1 on revenue of $17.45B.

Intel shares are up 25% from the beginning of the year and are trading at $62.34 , down-from-52-week-high.They are outperforming the which is up 4.01% from the start of the year.

Intel follows other major Technology sector earnings this month

Intel’s report follows an earnings beat by Taiwan Semiconductor on January 14, who reported EPS of $0.9851 on revenue of $12.93B, compared to forecasts EPS of $0.9362 on revenue of $12.85B.

Micron had beat expectations on January 7 with first quarter EPS of $0.78 on revenue of $5.77B, compared to forecast for EPS of $0.6842 on revenue of $5.66B.
