Ingram Pinn’s illustration of the week: New Horizons

Nasa’s New Horizons spacecraft sent back images of Ultima Thule, the most distant object ever visited by a probe from Earth. The 33km-long body was composed of two spherical lobes stuck together, and compared by the mission’s scientists to a snowman.

Meanwhile, during a visit to Singapore, Jeremy Hunt, the UK’s foreign secretary, gave a speech on “Britain’s role in a post -Brexit world”. He said the UK could be an “invisible chain” linking its connections across the world.
