Indore Smart City to help DAVV students grow their startups | Indore News

INDORE: Indore Smart City Seed Incubation Centre has decided to use its expertise in helping Devi Ahilya Vishwa Vidhyalaya (DAVV) students develop their business ideas into successful commercial projects.
Indore Smart City Development Limited (ISCDL) CEO Rishav Gupta on Friday signed an MoU with DAVV to render support for budding entrepreneurs on the entire lifecycle of startup such as ideation, product development, marketing, financial and other possible assistances. He said that their efforts are on to help the startups to grow and under this initiative, they will provide handholding to the university’s students along with alumnus and faculties to convert their viable startups ideas and research projects into successful business models.
“ISCDL will arrange subject-matter experts to provide training and mentorship to the prospective entrepreneurs to develop their business ideas, will help them in forming companies, will arrange meetings with investors along with providing other possible assistance to help the viable business start-ups to grow” , Gupta said.
He added the MoU with DAVV is for an initial period of two years and based on outcomes, it may further be extended. “As part of the MoU, we will also be able to access DAVV-based laboratories and expertise of the faculties to help explore the viability of multisectoral startups (different ideas related to one business) and help the same convert into successful business model” the CEO said.
According to Gupta, the smart city seed incubation centre setup in association with CIIE.CO (Built at IIM Ahmedabad) has recently tied up a similar MoU with Sri Aurobindo Institute of Technology and on Thursday, ISCDL senior officials held an interaction session with said college’s students. TNN
