Adrian Hayden of Saranac Lake took third place in the men’s age 15 to 18 Enduro Jr. Mountain Bike category at the USA Cycling Mountain Bike National Championship in Winter Park, Colorado on July 10.

The enduro competition tests the endurance of cross-country mountain bike riders with the difficulty of downhill mountain bike racing through multiple timed stages.

Hayden has been racing for around nine years and graduated from Saranac Lake High School on June 26.
