Google SmartReply is an artificial intelligence technology that helps you offer replies to messages in Gmail, Android messaging, the Play Developer Console, and more. Google announced the release of an updated version of SmartReply, created for YouTube. It will allow authors to more easily and quickly interact with their subscribers in the comments, reports Tech Crunch.
This feature is implemented in YouTube Studio, which channel authors use in the online control panel to manage their presence on YouTube, check statistics, expand their channel’s audience, and attract subscribers.
In the YouTube Studio comment section, channel creators can filter, view, and respond to comments throughout their channel.
This will be especially useful to authors of channels with a large number of subscribers, as it will take a long time to respond to the comments of each subscriber. Instead of manually entering your answer, authors will be asked to click one of the suggested answers to respond to comments from their viewers. Artificial intelligence will analyze comments and offer suitable answers.
The YouTube version of SmartReply handles a diverse set of content than its earlier counterparts, such as emoji or language switching, the company said. YouTube commentators also often post using shortened words, slang, and inconsistent punctuation. This has complicated the introduction of the system on YouTube.
