The fourth floor of the San Bernardino County Code Enforcement building on 3rd Street in San Bernardino was engulfed in flames on Sunday, with firefighters reporting they doused the blaze about an hour and a half later.
Fire officials published video of smoke and flames consuming the floor of the high-rise county building at 172 W. 3rd Street at around 10 a.m.

By just before 11:30 a.m., officials said the fire was out, but said the damage was “extensive.”
Fire officials said they had cleared the building. No one was injured. It’s not clear if the building was open over the weekend.
Officials said the cause of the fire is under investigation.
