A drone along with a package of mobile phones and drugs have been seized near Portlaoise Prison in County Laois.
The discovery was made at St. John’s Square in Portlaoise at around 4pm yesterday.
The crack cocaine, cocaine and cannabis have a combined worth of 5 thousand euro while phone chargers were also found.
A man in his 20s has been arrested and is being held at Portlaoise Garda Station.
