Denmark Tax Agency Explains Tax Incentives for Electric Car Charging Stations Using Renewable Energy

The Danish Customs and Tax Administration Sept. 10 posted online Tax Board Binding Answer No. SKM2021.474.SR, explaining the taxation of renewable energy used to charge electric cars. A taxpayer company produced electricity from its solar cell system for the purpose of charging the electric cars of consumers at its charging station. The taxpayer claimed refunds of electricity and carbon dioxide taxes.
