Black Shark 3 5G Launch Date Confirmed for March 3 in China, Black Shark 3 Expected to Debut Alongside


Xiaomi‘s Black Shark has just announced that its upcoming gaming smartphone Black Shark 3 will be launched in China on March 3. The company is planning the online-only event for the launch like all other companies due to coronavirus outbreak in China. The company had already revealed that the handset will sport 65W fast charging and 5000mAh battery. Lenovo Legion and nubia are other gaming smartphone brands that are launching their smartphones soon.

Black Shark 3 series (Pro and non-Pro) with model numbers MBU-A0 and KLE-A0 was spotted on 3C certification revealing the 65W fast charging and 5G capability of the device. The 65W fast charger is capable of charging the 5000mAh battery in a matter of 38 minutes, according to the company. The handset bearing the model number KLE-A0 passed through Geekbench, revealing the key specifications. The listing suggests the device would sport Snapdragon 865 SoC, 12GB RAM and run Android 10 OS.

The Black Shark 3 5G is tipped to equip 2k panel having a refresh rate of 120Hz. You will also provided with the option of choosing between 60Hz, 90Hz, and 120Hz refresh rates that can save your battery. It should also equip up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 flash storage, 512GB of storage.

On March 3rd, Black Shark is expected to launch both Black Shark 3 and 3 Pro 5G which are expected arrive with slightly different memory configurations.
