Banking on Change, The Development and Future of Financial Services reviewed

There are a lot of interesting chapters by a wide, interesting and authoritative range of authors. The selective of contributors works well with each of them bringing goo insights from their own particular area of expertise. It is always a challenge to predict what might be coming down the line in terms of future trends and evolutions in financial and banking services. In terms of value for the reader this comes from delving through these predictions and aiming to assess which ones are most likely to occur.

It is always hard to know for sure which ones will come to pass, but, for a book which aims to celebrate 150 years for the London  Institute of Banking and Finance, it is a useful collection of ideas to delve into.  Each chapter is long enough to go into more depth than a mere superficial analysis and there are a number of standout chapters including Dave Birch’s, Peter Allen, William Hahn and many more.
