NORWALK — It’s official: the Apple store will be part of the retail line-up at The SoNo Collection.
The technology company put up a sign this weekend announcing it would be opening an outlet at the large new retail center in the south end of the city.
The SoNo Collection opened in mid-October, with flagship stores like Nordstrom opening their doors. More tenants are slowly moving in. The first Amazon store in Connecticut is set to open there.
There was speculation among shoppers and merchants about Apple establishing a presence at the SoNo Collection, and that speculation was put to rest Saturday on the mall’s first floor when their sign went up at a vacant store space.
Other Apple stores are located in Danbury, Stanford, Greenwich and Trumbull.
